This trade is a win for both organizations and both players. Giddey goes to a place that was bottom of the league in assists and will likely get at least 15-20 triple doubles. Caruso goes to OKC as a defensive and offensive upgrade in the type of minutes Giddey struggled in.

This same Wolves team is like a 6/7 seed without Rudy. I’d say he’s somewhere between 25-30.

It may feel like yall should’ve gotten at least a couple 2nd rounders along with Giddey… however, you got a durable 21 year old 6’8” point guard that was basically playing out of position all year. The rise of JDub made Josh expendable. Josh is a baller, and while I know a lot of fans are pissed their favorite player got traded for their least favorite player, just breathe. Josh is a good dude, who went through the worst year of his life. Go watch his post season interview, and look at how self aware the guy is. One of Josh’s biggest haters, a Thunder fan with his own podcast, has a child with special needs. This dude trashed Josh all season, but when his kid had an emergency, and the guy needed help, Josh stepped up and donated. He wasn’t expecting any publicity, but Josh made a difference for someone who pretty much hated his guys. Not that it matters on the court, but Josh has been slandered for a whole year, and I feel like people need to know more about him. So I say all that, because if the fans can accept the situation, give Josh a little space to make mistakes and learn your system, I believe he may surprise some people.

They essentially got better on defence but dropped on PPG This wasn’t the issue in the playoffs, it was Rebounding and having no Playmaker in the OKC roster apart from Giddey SGA played amazing but he can’t do everything for the team and Giddey really fleshed out the team because I don’t see JDub becoming a PG or Chet having the joker role at all
